NO TOILET PAPER?! HOW TO SURVIVE
We are living in strange times. Not having toilet paper is one of the strangest. We never know what’s going to happen next these days, which means it’s best to be prepared for anything that comes our way.
So, How Can We Prepare For A Toilet Paper-less Future?
Good news: there are options! First and foremost, if you’re in a situation where you have access to toilet paper, stock up. It may not last forever, but it’s better than nothing. Additionally, you can try buying other types of paper product, such as paper towels or facial tissues that could be used to handle the same tasks. Keep in mind though, these alternatives are not as absorbent as toilet paper.
Should you find yourself without any paper products to use in the bathroom, don’t despair! Alternate “toileting solutions” include:
- Cloth: an old, clean t-shirt, a handkerchief, or a microfiber cloth can all be used in lieu of toilet paper. This method may take a bit of getting used to, though.
- Washable wipes: you can buy washable wipes, or make your own! Simply cut up an old towel or cloth into squares and use them as you would a regular wipe. Reuse the same ones multiple times before throwing them in the laundry.
- Bidet: they may seem strange and complicated, but a bidet can come in handy if you don’t have access to traditional toileting options. You can even buy one that attaches to your existing toilet, and it even comes with a heated seat!
These solutions may seem strange, but when you’re in a situation where you don’t have access to your usual roll of toilet paper, they can be lifesavers.
In the end, everyone needs to take care of their business in the restroom; however, we don’t need to rely on toilet paper to do it. Doing your due diligence and being prepared, even for the strangest of situations, will help you (and your tush) out in the long run. Good luck!
