Peppers respond best to a steady flow of fertilizer. Feed your peppers a slow-release fertilizer every other week and make sure the container has adequate drainage.
Harvest your peppers when they are fully ripe. Depending on the variety, they may be red, orange, yellow, or purple when ripe. Make sure to harvest before the frost arrives as peppers are not frost tolerant.
